Harshal Morwale is an Indian qualified lawyer currently enrolled at the MIDS Geneva LL.M. program. Previously, Harshal has worked as a trainee and then as an International Case Counsel at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), Kuala Lumpur. At the AIAC, Harshal provided administrative as well as legal support to international arbitration and construction adjudication matters under the AIAC Rules. Harshal was also involved with policy and strategy of the AIAC as well as various other projects including the one involving upcoming Belt and Road initiative.
Harshal is an accredited tribunal secretary by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and listed on several tribunal secretary panels. He has also acted as a secretary to the arbitral tribunal in domestic commercial as well as construction arbitration matters in India. He is also the associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).
Harshal is also the Editor-in-chief of a legal portal called Law Web. At Law Web, along with his team, Harshal develops substantive as well as procedural law training modules for judges, arbitrators and mediators. Harshal is an alumnus of the prestigious Hague Academy of International Law - Public International Law Summer Course (2017). He is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi and has an intermediate-level proficiency of Spanish.
